Featured Duck of the Week:

Bluey

Say hello to this week’s dashboard MVP: Bluey. Bright as the summer sky and bold enough to pop against any Jeep interior, Bluey is the duck that turns heads at red lights and gets waves from total strangers.

Unlike the darker, moodier ducks in the catalog, Bluey radiates good vibes. He’s been popping up all over Facebook groups and X feeds, usually perched front and center on dashboards like a rallying mascot. One Jeeper in Missouri wrote: “Bluey’s my co-pilot. We’ve hit trails, car washes, and a rainstorm so heavy I thought the duck would float away — still standing strong.”

At a meet-up in Texas, someone strapped Bluey onto a CB radio antenna, and the wind made him wobble like he was dancing to the convoy’s engine rumbles. Needless to say, every Jeep behind them filmed it, and Bluey is now unofficially known as the “Dash Dancer.”

The Catalog Wars: Ducks vs. Beyond Ducks

The Duck Catalog is bursting with variety. On one end, you’ve got Bluey and his vibrant kin — bright, cheerful ducks that say, “Yeah, my Jeep gets muddy, but it also knows how to smile.” On the other end, there are edgy designs like Groot Duck, Zombie Duck, and the battle-scarred Stay-Puff Duck. Together, they’ve made dashboards across the country look like rolling toy shops.

But the real competition? The Beyond the Duck Catalog. That’s where Jeepers are experimenting. Duck-shaped gear shifts, duck hood decals, even 3D-printed duck keychains are becoming collector’s favorites. A Facebook photo this week showed a Wrangler with duck-shaped mud flaps — and the comments were savage. Half the group was like “That’s genius” while the other half swore it was “duck overload.”

Spoiler: there’s no such thing as duck overload.

Jeep Trail Chatter – Straight from X

This week, Jeepers couldn’t stop talking about Moab’s Hell’s Revenge and Colorado’s Alpine Loop.

  • Moab’s Hell’s Revenge: A driver posted: “Bluey stared me down the whole time like, ‘Don’t you dare tip this Jeep.’ Made it through, no scratches, no duck dives.” Another shared a photo where Bluey was zip-tied to the dash with the caption: “My duck’s tougher than I am.” Replies were filled with GIFs of clapping ducks and crying-laughing emojis.

  • Alpine Loop, CO: The chatter here was all about the views — endless peaks and wildflowers. But the duck commentary? One post said: “Pulled over for photos, and some dude ran up just to ask where I got my Bluey. Jeepers don’t ask about tires anymore, it’s always the ducks.” That post picked up nearly 2,000 likes.

The lesson? Ducks get the glory, Jeeps get the gas bill.

Community Vibes – Jeeps, Ducks & Social Feeds

Over in the Jeep Facebook groups, dashboards are looking like carnival prize booths — colorful, stacked, and unapologetically loud. Bluey’s been showing up in posts where people flex their bright, happy-themed setups. One group member bragged: “I don’t just have Bluey, I have a whole rainbow squad.” The attached pic? Six ducks lined up like Skittles on the dash.

Meanwhile, X was buzzing with convoy videos from Jeep Beach Daytona. Dozens of Jeeps rolled out with Bluey on their dashboards, and someone even strapped a giant inflatable Bluey to a trailer as the parade caboose. The replies were a mix of “That’s epic” and “Where can I buy that inflatable?”

At a smaller Jeep meet in Kentucky, someone pulled a prank by swapping out a buddy’s Zombie Duck for Bluey. The best part? The guy didn’t notice for two days — then posted a selfie with the caption: “Apparently, I’ve been rolling with Bluey instead of Zombie. Honestly? I kinda love it.”

Closing Thoughts

The ducking movement shows no sign of slowing. Whether it’s cheerful icons like Bluey, spooky staples like Zombie, or 3D-printed custom legends like Groot Duck, the Duck Catalog keeps dashboards alive and personal. And the Beyond the Duck Catalog? That’s where Jeepers push the culture forward with wild extras.

Bluey stands out because he’s more than just a dash accessory — he’s the duck that sparks conversations, breaks the ice at stoplights, and gets more compliments than your paint job. If Jeep culture is about adventure and community, Bluey’s the mascot for both.
